Don't drop anything, but just add standard weightlifting to your routine. I did BJJ for a couple years, saw people around me just explode with power and strength while I stayed 5'8 130lbs. I don't think there was more than one or two other people under 160lbs, the rest were fucking bodybuilding their way to 180, 200, 220lbs leaving mankind behind. Not to mention they could already fight like beasts, strength and power will always, ALWAYS help. Just make sure you keep your cardio up to a degree as well. I learned from the core (hurr muhrine) that muscle takes a shitload of oxygen, which will tire you out quickly. So if you can't get past 170 or 180lbs while continuously being able to run 2 miles in 16 minutes, then don't bother putting on more mass. I found my sweet spot at 165. Though it's hard to keep up, so I've since dropped down to ~155-160 and try to just keep it there.

Also did judo for a long time, and strength plays such a massive role in so many combat sports that you need to have some weight behind you. Especially true if you are doing these things for the off chance that you get in a fight one day and your gun is nowhere around.
