What kind of macros should endurance runners consume?
Lots of carbs and protein I'd think

Macros are a scam anon. Just eat what your body tells you it needs

Reminds me of the time my mother tried to convince me that calories-in-calories-out was mom-science

Most athletes run on lots of carbohydrates, but there is a great documentary on munchies or vice (cant remember) showing a ultra distance runner that mainly consumes fat.
Its different for every situation but as a base guideline- endurance athletes should consume 60/20/20 carbs/fats/proteins

Are you an endurance runner?
I'm looking for a routine. I can do 5km at the moment but need to get to marathon level by October.

It takes most people a year to go from a half marathon to a full marathon. Get to the point where you are running 4-6 days a week and then slowly increase your mileage. To finish a marathon you probably need to average like 45 miles a week minimally. You should do at least four runs of 20+ miles.

My body tells me it needs oreos and french fries.
