Running on the balls of your foot vs heel striking

yes.

Yes
My calves were sore for two days straight after running toe-off because I had shitty shoes that day.
When I ninja run, I run on the balls, when I run conspicuously, I run on the heel.
>doing cardio

I remember once when i was jogging the neighborhood as a kid, some old guy stopped me to tell me that I should be running "heel, toe, heel toe." I was a very slow runner since then.
Why not just Racewalk?

faster the pace, more forward the striking spot goes
>>39793452
>heel strike

People actually run on their heels? Wtf
I did that as an autismo kid but i changed for the better. I imagine its the reason why people have knee pain from running.

Your calves where sore because they weren't used to you running the way your body evolved to run, instead of heel-striking constantly, usually because of shoes with hugely built-up padding in the heel. Get actual running shoes and do calf raises in the gym, too, and your problems will go away, your running will improve.
