I feel that glycogen stores dont get enough appreciation on here.
The average human body can store roughly 3000kcal in glycogen stores. You can get on your bicycle and ride for 3 hours before even eating breakfast, if you eat enough of course.
I know this board is all about getting /fit/ and I know you guys hate cardio, which means you hate to actually get fit, but I think you guys can appreciate the way our bodies work to give us the energy we need.

its the whole premise behind carb cycling & timing. leangains is a popular interpretation.
There is nothing like Lance Armstrong using his glycogen storage to sprint up hills like he did. I will always respect him for pushing for pushing the human body to the absolute max.
