Try taking a break from lifting anything that can irritate it for 8-10 days. It might be a muscle strain/minor tear in your rotator cuff. If the pain continues/gets worse, that is when you'll need to see a doctor.
You're probably fine, though.

doctors will just tell you to rest. It's tendonitis/weakass tear. Take 2-3 weeks off if it's burning.

Unless it's bruised or you got it from falling down you don't see a doctor
