Is working out traps considered as working out your back?

I isolate traps on back day or shoulder day, depending on the season.
For example, when I do a 5 day split while I bulk, I do shrugs and upright rows on shoulder day. When I do a 3 day split twice a week I isolate traps on the same day I hit shoulders and upper back, in the upper back slot (I do antagonist muscle group supersets).
