I pulled this split directly from t-nation.
Day 1:Back, traps
Day 2:Chest, biceps, forearms
Day 3:Quads, abs
Day 4:Shoulders, triceps
Day 5:Hamstrings, calves

The reason I though it would work well is if I put one of my rest days directly after my chest day and my shoulder day I would have them decently far apart, and then I also give my shoulders more rest directly after different workouts that affect them. Does this make sense or am I brosciencing?

bumping cause I need help.
>>
Bump cause rotator cuff injury and shoulder impingement
I WANT MY FUCKING SHOULDERS BACK REEEEEEE I WANT TO DO THE PRESS AGAIN

As op I'm in the same position. Tore the cuff as a kid in high school, continually re-injure it.

Bump because rotator cuff injury and AC joint injury. Fucking shoulders man I swear to God you hit 25 and suddenly it's not just your knees you have and lower back you have to stress about.

Sounds good OP but make sure to take proper rest from everything for at least a week or so just to let those shoulders heal. I assume you already have.

All of this is meaningless if you aren't doing external rotation exercises like facepulls

So work it you stupid cunt

hurr just wurk it

I have been, hence the injuries. Tats why I'm looking at intelligently planning my workouts so I don't have to worry about this as much.

My ortho always says the best thing you can do for shoulders is to push and pull on the same day for opposing muscles. Ex: If you are benching, do rows immediately after (and for best results do twice as much rowing). If you are doing overhead press then do pull ups or pull downs afterward.

Shoulders injuries really suck though. I have been lifting for ten years and both my shoulders both decided to start giving me issues about a two years ago. I had surgery on the left side for bone spurs and almost a year of rehab on the right side for a torn labrum (which i didn't have repaired). I was finally getting back to a regular lifting routine when I suddenly developed bursitis and bicep tendonitis on my left side. This is particularly frustrating because in the surgery on this shoulder they shaved down my AC joint and Acromion specifically to allow my bursa sack room to move so I wouldn't get impingement in the future. I going to PT for it now and my doctor wants to try a PRP injection if that doesnt work.

Moral of the story: stretch your pecs, warm up shoulders before workouts, do scapular stability stability exercises while you have healthy shoulders.

dont use use injections, the injection will cause further harm in the future since it has anabolic hormones in it which break down stuff, this could give you very weak elbows for example
>>
>>39757398
i mean they have cortisol**** which will probably remove your tendonitis but will also weaken the ligaments
>>

PRP stands for "Platelet rich plasma". They simply draw your own blood and filter out a bunch of stuff so it is a high concentration of platelets and inject it into the problematic area. it helps because tendons and ligaments have very limited blood flow and will help the tissue to release growth factors and stimulate reparative cells. I had it done on my other shoulder with the torn labrum and it was able to scar over the labrum enough to prevent me from getting surgery. Cortizone is completely different.

I injured my shoulder about six months ago. Squatting. Dropped weight on one shoulder, rhomboid dropped, immediate pain. After a week it started to feel more like a rotator cuff injury. It still hasnt healed completely. Slight pain everyday. Should i just make an appointment to the physiotherapist? Any stretching suggestions? I'm going crazy missing the gym.
