If I skip bench press and do overhead press aesthetically what would I be losing out on.
My goal is to eventually overhead press my body weight. Been neglecting dumbbell bench presses. Am I also primarily lifting for women and looks.
Am I going to meme myself?
Oh and sometimes I like to do push press as well. Generally I do strict OHP and when I cant do more reps crank out 3 to 4 more by push pressing.

Uhhh I mean OHP pretty much only works your deltoids so you'd have a pretty small chest, I don't know what your goals are but generally bodybuilders like having big pecs

Looks like I should keep doing my dumbbell bench presses.
Not liking the pic anon posted.

You will have good shoulders and a shit chest.
Not sure why you would even ask this since the answer is very obvious.

Well I am just reading online what people prefer and many are saying OHP > bench press.
Anyway I will do both

Exercise i like>exercise i dont like
Now you have to stop doing what i dont like

It's weird that they would say that because they work different muscles, it's like saying squatting is better than bench press, they serve different purposes so apart from the enjoyment you personally get from doing them there's not much to compare

There's your mistake. Rippetardians like the OHP because they have weak bench presses and are essentially doing what they hate the most - ego lifting.
If you want big shoulders - dumbell shoulder presses. Lots of them for like 10-12 reps.
