How many plates should I be benching to be considered a man?

I think 185, but most of /fit/ will tell you if you are benching less than 315 you're a puss.

225 lb

Don't listen to this guy, you can't even put 185 plates on a bar.
>>39732209
at least 2 unless you're injured

Realistically, it should be based on a multiplier of your bodyweight.

225lb minimum.
Ideally you should be aiming for the /fit/ standard of 2/3/4/5pl8 ohp/bench/squat/deadlift.
Normie standards is 1/2/3/4pl8 to be considered strong.

This. Second week at gym and hit 100 plates today so this sounds right.
1x bodyweight
Unless you're under 135lbs then you need to bench at least 135.
>>39732276
>/fit/ standard of 2/3/4/5
That's impossible, 1/2/3/4 is a good standard but most people with long arms will never OHP 2 and bench 3 unless they roid for years.

Underrated/10

Realistically, you are a manlet and your opinion is irrelevant.
