RACK PULLS ABOVE THE KNEE FOR OVERLOADING THE UPPER BACK
Seems to be working for him and he seems natty.

I want to believe him.
Then again, he's literallly 5'5".

Yeah, he's the king of manlets, but his advice seems pretty solid
Why not just do heavy dumbbell rows, coupled with loaded carries or shrugs?
Time under tension is higher with regular shrugs/carries than rack pulls.

Alex doesn't believe in TUT. To him, overloading (using as much weight as possible) is the most efficient way to achieve hypertrophy.

Yea but rack pulls literally wreck the bar.
I didn't fork out $500 to have it fucked up.
Why doesn;t he cut that disgusting mustache?

Home gym?

Just dont slam the bar on the pins (lower it under control, yes, you will have to use less weight), or (this is the best option), get blocks to pull from.
Or dont do rack pulls. Theyre not magic. But theyre a good assistance excercise for Deadlifts, which only matters if youre a powerlifter or just want a huge deadlift, but more importantly, theyre a good fun ego lift.

He also says that you should get a 500 lb deadlift before you move on to rack pull overloading. His advice is meant to squeeze the final gains out of your body.

Yea lad. Love it.

Block pulls seem better anyways cuz there's slack just like a real DL.
