Why not use beef protein isolate?
>>
>>39717743
Choose beef or egg protein powder

meh. Tried both not for me. Im def looking for something juice like...I really cant stand the consistency of most shakes
>>
pea protein's pretty gud. Unfortunately I don't know where to get it other than price gouge-y places like wholefoods.

I'm in the same boat as you, OP. Vega Sport is alright, but gritty and they've lowered to quality of their protein recently.

Sun Warrior is pretty tasty, but expensive af and only something like 20g of protein per serving. I'm digging Iron Vegan Athlete's Blend right now. It behaves a lot like whey protein when you blend it up and its super tasty and not at all gritty

There is 0 lactose in whey protein isolate. Hence the term isolate as in isolated from the other things. Anyways there never any lactose in whey anyways as it is the by product of milk treated with lactase which is the enzyme that destroys the sugar lactose. Whey is mostly water and the water soluble amino acids, vitamins, and minerals found in milk. If the shakes are affecting your gi tract It's from something other than lactose intolerance (unless you mix with milk but I doubt you're that dumb). If you have the money or insurance I recommend a visit to the dr. Who can get you to see a nutritionist so you can find all the things that seem to irritate your bowels.
