Easy way to use leftover shit in your fridge, easy way to get meat, vegetables, and beans/lentils in your diet. Soup is great. Lots of sodium, though. Drink plenty of water to offset the sodium.

Personally, I liked to use a bacon, onion, celery, carrots, corn, lentils and potatoes when making mine. Using chicken broth too.

First I would heat up the pot and put the bacon in, let fry and have the bacon fat grease up the bottom. Then I'd add spices, then cut up celery and onion. Let it sizzle.

Then I'd the other ingredients and the broth. Let it boil a bit.

I would add the lentils last after boiling it a separate pot and draining.

Is a great pot of soup.
