Ok well the issue is here that pretty much everyone in college makes their social circles during their residency in freshman year
It is possible to make casual friends now, but you wont be able to make good friends.
Good news is that people try to make new circles once they are finished college. Hobbies, socials, and singles settings are a good way to make friends once you are done with college

Not gonna happen. Most of the time youll just be someone's +1 unless you manage to hit it off with most of the people in it.

Youre in college so join the fitness club. If you have good gains then you probably will be well liked. Just dont come off as desperate. Guys/girls in those clubs usually like going to EDM fests and raves so make sure you are into that too
