My jaw used to pop and crack all the time while chewing. Been mewing for a month or two and the popping has subsided substantially. I'll still have a painful pop once in a while but it's so much more manageable now.

I watched this guy several times and I still don't get what mewing is, specifically. As in, the technique itself. Sticking your tongue to the roof in your mouth? Breathing through your nose? Wow, so revolutionary.

You gotta learn how to push your tongue (especially the rear 1/3) up onto your upper palate anon.

Watch his videos on proper swallowing and the like.

It isn't a skill you build overnight, takes a week or two to really start to notice a difference.
