I've been having some pain in my shoulder lately but normally it doesn't effect my workout. today I got through bench, chins and dips without even a twinge but then the moment I started my pendlay rows all hell broke loose. pictured is where the pain is and only in the one shoulder. any experiences with this? remedies?

You probably fucked up your rotator cuff.
1 month off, after 2-3 weeks when the pain goes away just start warming up with only bodyweight. Don't lift through it
Do this after you healed. Find the stretches online https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPm5dQ4_yhE

oh for fucks sake. are there any lifts I can do? I can't take a month off the gym I'm go crazy.
because I'm in the gym I decided to try a few excersises to see if they cause pain. with adequate weight neither lateral raises nor bent over flies cause pain. would these be stupid to do with the injury or if I go low weight high rep can I still get some use out of these?
I had that before, it went away after about 4 weeks - I just worked through it.
You'll be fine, senpai

I hope so, glad it cleared up for you. I'm gonna lay off the heavy weights on the shoulders and just do some supporting lifts to strengthen it up without putting to much strain on. seeing a doctor tomorrow because this paired with everything else it's a bit much. I don't have much in my life so havinf to give up the gym would have been a real soul crusher
Take a fuckton of glutamine and vit c for a few weeks. And stop benching until you can press 85% bw for reps. Of course you will ignore this post and continue to have pain.

I had the exact same thing.. no idea what caused it or why it only hurt on rows..I just stayed off rows for a month or so and all was back to normal
