This really rustles me because before I was home gym master race, there was a DYEL faggot who took 3 pl8 during gym busy time and used it to squat 1/8 ROM.

Actually once I saw an extremely DYEL man who looked exactly like Richard Simmons take literally every 45lb pl8 in the gym except the one I was using to do weighted chins, and he loaded them up on the leg press. There were so many pl8s that he had to rest 4 of them behind the foot plate because the bars were full.

Then he did a few reps of 1/8 ROM and that was it. I know it shouldn't bother me but I can only imagine these people bragging to their buddies BRO I SQUAT 315 or BRO I LEG PRESS 1080

Speaking of which, I am irritated by impatient fucks. I was once using a bench and taking a 60 second break between sets (I use a timer). I was logging my previous set on my phone and some DYEL faggot walks up and asks me if I'm done with the bench. I told him to gtfo.

I used the bench for maybe 5 minutes total so it's not like he had been standing around grinding his teeth while I took forever.

There's this fucking autistic dyel vegan marathon runner with baggy sweatpants and lifting gloves that goes around the gym starting conversations with people mid-set. It doesn't matter if they have headphones on or if they're doing a really heavy lift, he'll start a conversation with them. He goes to the gym for about 1,5 hours 4 times a week or so. I go to the gym at 5am 4 days a week. A lot of times I'll walk in and see a rack with a bar loaded with plates but no one around it. Usually this is from some late night jackass that was too lazy to deload, and there's no issue with me taking the rack and doing my thing.

But surprisingly often I'll walk over to the rack (after 10-20 minutes of me doing other stuff but the rack remaining unused) and start to setup, some faggot comes out of nowhere and says "hey man I was using that".

I want to shoot this person in the head and fuck the brain hole.

The only thing that still bothers me is seeing people brag about their lifts when they're either actually pretty shit or done with like 1/2 ROM.
Plates being put up in the wrong order used to bother me but it's so awful at my new gym I can't even worry about it anymore.

Actually now that I think about it my gym itself triggers me because of the totally shit equipment, but I've just gotten used to it. It's a good thing I train there and get a free membership because I'd hate to pay the ridiculous prices they charge for a bunch of machines and barbells with no knurling.

Depends on the purpose of the movement. If you're programming for hypertrophy with high volume then go ahead and cheat, it's usually going to be better for your goal than failure. But if you're trying to put up numbers on your atg squat then cheating rom is inefficient. You need to acknowledge technical failure so you know when to deload.

Not op but I use pre-workout on days I just feel off or I know my job is going to suck ahead of time before I go in (mailman 11 miles a day 4k calories burned) I drink a ton of water during my workout because I'm going to be limited from drinking water during my work day.

No. Overhand grip with the bottom of your knuckles at the 3 o'clock position. Backs of your palms should be vertical. If that's killing your hands, do forearm exercises like wrist curls/farmer's walk. Mixed grip is okay for >100kg but you should work to overhand it
