Anyone else here have family who are nutrition vampires with stupid outdated ideas on medicine?

>threw my coconut oil because 'it is just lard in a jar and you are being misled, coconuts can't produce oil due to their hairs'
>always offering 'helpful' advise on not lifting too much weight because 'everything feels heavier if you have heavy arms'

They are trying to help but so ignorant and stubborn.
