Anybody else dealing with injuries? I'm kind of interested to see where people draw the line of taking off or working around an injury.

Also fuck rib injuries.

i think i tore my rotator cuff

and tomorrow is when i was finally going to break an ohp plateau

Got t-boned 2 months ago ... Broke my arm, fucked up my knee, haven't been able to lift or do cardio. Had surgery on the arm, just got the cast off a week and a half ago. Started physical therapy last week.

My gains are gone and I'm kind of depressed.

My back is fucked from deadlifting poorly for a long time, I've been an idiot about it. I'd been rowing at the time and was even trying to gain weight for it (bad idea desu, wasn't doing enough lifting in the program). Incredibly depressed now from inadequacy on all fronts.

so I've spent the last month being depressed, eating like a fat child, and going to the gym in spurts, not enjoying it ever because running can cause pain, and I can't squat or deadlift without risking making it worse.

PT starts when I go home for the winter, I just pray I don't need surgery

Couldn't lift at all for 2 months, couldn't do any lifts that had any upper body movement for 4 months

My squats suffered too because my shoulder mobility was essentially gone with how little i could move it cus lmao broken bone
