More of /fit/ needs to know about Kefir. The whole superfood meme is gay as fuck but this stuff tops countless nutritional charts, is as cheap as the milk you put it in, takes as little as 24 hours to make and supplies all the benefits of milk without the sugars, plus extra B vitamins, vitamin K and protein.
And it's fucking delicious and you can add fruit peelings you'd throw out to flavour it.
Anyone drink it?

I like Kefir from the store but when I made it at home it was gross.

I'm the opposite. When I buy it from the store it tastes a little smoother but it has less protein and prebiotics, which are what I care about, and more sugar which I don't want

Also for what it's worth my first 2 weeks worth of kefir came out as kind of sour and shitty because the grains were adjusting to their new environment, give it a few more tries or move it around and you'll get better results
