hey /fit/ as you can see I have very small hands and I was wondering at which point will this keep me from deadlifting heavy? Without straps

Most legit gyms have thinner bars for the purpose of deadlifting and power cleaning. You'll be fine.
Invest in some chalk. Big hands help but it's all about the grip.
Thats weird, our hands are pretty much exactly the same
I thought I had normal sized hands as well :(
But desu I can't see it getting in the way of heavy diddly lifts
can you grab the bar? then you hands are big enough. grip strength will be the limit of how much you can lift, not hand size.
grip strength also increases much slower compared to how fast you can increase weight on deadlifts so you won't be able to keep up.
just use double overhand grip and go as heavy as you can everytime you deadlift. after that you'll have to decide between hook grip or using straps.
another option would be alt grip but some people develop imbalance that way.
Small hands won't stop you from lifting heavy if your grip strength is solid.
It can make hook grip hard or impossible on thicker bars though.
