What makes macros so important? I don't understand how they work
I'm 5" 125lbs and I want to lose weight, I eat 1000 calories a day or less
My everyday diet looks like this: milk and granola, a subway, small chocolate
Rate my diet? Is it terrible? Or not bad?

try do a realistic cut and it'll work for longer instead of doing <1000 cals a day
fruit for breakfast
sandwich with salad and meat for lunch (make it yourself, no subway)
no chocolate, have fruit instead if you're hungry
salad and a small serve of some kind of meat for dinner
no milk, no chocolate, no soft drinks, just complex carbs, veggies and meat. also dont be scared of fat like olive oil and avocado and shit

Yes, 1000 is realistic for me, I don't feel hungry and I think having one small chocolate everyday is better than having a cheat day where I eat tons of shit. I'm new at dieting so I don't want to make my diet all healthy and miserable then quit at once
Only fruit I like is mangos but has too much calories that I'd rather eat chocolate instead, calories in calories out is what matters?

just cut chocolate and other crap out of your diet until you realise that being healthy isn't actually miserable
