Hey /fit/
My 60-year old obese father wants to hit the gym but I'm not sure how to best introduce him. There's not a lot he can do plus he's insecure as fuck and I'm worried some Chad is gonna look at him funny and he's gonna do the whole "what the fuck are you looking at?" schtick and all hell will break loose.
Any tips?

Don't have him change his diet. That's road to failure.
Have him hit the gym and do machines for low-weight, high reps (10) for about a month. His initial gains will motivate him a lot.
No jogging you will fuck up his joints.
