I had a fun(not) dream where I took a 5 hours long test (thanks school for scarring me forever).

These were the subjects (15 questions each): math, portuguese, english, spanish, history, geography, chemistry, physics, philosophy, biology, pathology, south park(???), powerlifting.

During the test, stupid shit would happen to slow me down - like someone stealing my chair, someone throwing my mtg cards on the ground, locking me outside when I left to use the restroom, taking my tests and raising it high so I can't reach it even when jumping, etc etc

A lot of teachers and other students would come around to say hi and they would always ask "why are you wearing a skirt?"

One of powerlifting questions was: Why was Yusuke Suzuki only able to bench 190 in a recent IPF meet, but Daiki Kodama was able to perform excellently?

When I went to use the restrooms, there were a bunch of people in front of the entrance for the girl's and boy's, and I didn't know which one I should go in.

Its all mental man, do you think you can add 15lb a week to your squat? 7.5 to bench? 10+ deadlift? If that sounds like a terrifying grind then no. But if it sounds like the path to get you where you wanna be then go for it. I've found a little periodization ala gnuckols to help tremendously but the supposed gains Rippetoe says are possible are quite alluring, there no doubt. My GDE self just never experienced them.

Never have I encountered so much conflicting thought about something in the fitness industry and, given that the fitness is industry is 90% lies, that's saying something.

Are belts going to help my squat and deadlift? Will they help anything else and should I wear it for anything else? Should it only be worn for very heavy sets (eg 90%+)? Will it make my abs weaker? Will it make my abs stronger? What are the drawbacks of using a belt? What is "pushing your abs out" into it?

Thanks. I want to go to a competition at my uni and I'd rather utilize everything I have.
