Why don't you spend the money on a holiday to go trekking somewhere. It will be a better experience, the exercise will be far better for your health than chopping up your body, it won't leave a massive scar around your waist and you can't overeat the experience away like you will overeat the surgery results away because you're a lazy sack of shit with no willpower who will take an unhealthy surgery over eating less and working out.

OP here again, I'll clarify:
It's not ideal to gain muscle mass after I cut the skin.
It's better to cut less skin while it's also better to not stretch the skin again after I cut it.
I'm not planning to stop lifting and I plan to keep growing in muscle mass.
My dilemma is at what stage should I take the surgery.
I'm certain that in 5 years, the amount of skin needed to be remove would probably be half than if do it next year.
But I don't want to live in monk mode for the next 5 years.

I just had a tummy tuck done for some loose skin.

I was about 2 months before I could lift again. I just did really low impact cardio for the first month, and then asked my doc at the one month post-op appointment if he thought jumping rope was fine.

Just don't go crazy with your diet, and you should be fine.
