You look like you've never intentionally tried to gain weight before, and have been passively, through lifting, gaining weight up until this point.

just try and bulk for more than 5 fucking lbs, you'll be amazed at how much of a change it makes.

6'ish 186ish right now, going for 200 hopefully by feb and then will cut. Started lifting in late march, think my body weight was around 165ish? have never done anything athletic before so i was THE definition of skinnyfat

my squat has been fucked up for a while but I've finally nailed it after a lot of deloading and playing around with it, goal is two plates before I reach 200 pounds (which seems pretty easy)

routine is a 6 day ppl linear progression split where each day focuses around one heavy compound movement

was thinking about going back to stronglifts or SS but I would go crazy only going 3 days a week

I'd advise on taking an EC stack for cutting. You should cut down and train until 10%, you might have to cut longer than a year(s). I wouldn't eat over 2000 calories a day (1 cheat meal a month), but at least over 100g of protein. but at lea I would suggest doing a ppl routine, going 6 times a week and also do 15min+ of cardio after each workout. Loose skin seems to be unavoidable in your case, better start saving money for the surgery ( if you want to look good). If you don't understand any of the terms, google it.

Sure.

Started at 410lbs in 2012, lowest I got was 184lbs in 2015 after the skin removal + dope sick starving mode.

The surgery was painful, but necessary. Since I had so much skin, they did a fleur de lis tummy tuck, which leaves kind of an anchor looking scar on your skin. It's a vertical cut in addition to the horizontal one that's traditionally done.

I also had my ass and chest lifted. Lots of money, but totally worth it. I finally landed a GF after cause I had some confidence. TRT also helped immeasurably.

Started at 30, 34 now...I know, but honestly my 30s have been amazing.

Being that huge has advantages. Small changes make a big impact, i.e. cut soda, sugar free stuff, etc. I dieted my way down to 330 before starting to exercise.

My exercise consisted solely of walking from 30 mins to an hour on the treadmill. Didn't start lifting until I hit 300lbs. I also did a lot of high intensity circuits and shit trying to simply shred weight.

Honestly it hasn't gotten truly hard until now, which is the point where I'm trying to get bigger and leaner at the same time.

It fucked up my test pretty bad, so 0 sex drive for a long time. I was too fat to fuck for 10+ years, and didn't get my sex drive back until I started testosterone replacement. After that, I got laid in a little over a month. I also became a complete autist so it took a special girl to finally relent.

Chest and arms have (and still have) sagging skin, so I got it pulled up. They couldn't do anymore than what they did without destroying my nipples.

Hard to say, as I don't really hang around judgmental people so they didn't really say much when I was fat. I get treated about the same by all my friends, except now they're super proud of me.

I'm too much of an autist to approach sluts, so no amount of physical improvement will matter. Also the balding thing doesn't help. I do at least get a few smiles and mirror watching at the gym in a tank top, so that's nice.

The stretch marks suck, and the surgeon said there is really no good solution. Pregnancy for 9 months is treatable, but carrying 200+ lbs for years results in permanent scarring. The best I can do is reduce the appearance a bit.

I do a 4-day-per-week push/pull routine based around heavy compounds with some isolation, did SS + accessories for the first nine months or so until I hit 1/2/3/4

I started lifting halfway through sophomore year or college when a friend took me to the rec. he was a total curlbro doing a 6-day split with a ton of meme exercises, but it got me interested. I found /fit/ and managed to get some good knowledge amidst all the shitposting, and have been lifting consistently since then. friends ask me what I do but really the most important thing is to actually enjoy lifting otherwise it'll be much harder to be consistent

Listen, at 145lbs you don't know shit because you are obviously unaware of what making gains are.

You should be eating 3-4,000 calories per day and shooting for 165-175 lbs instead of worrying about body fat. Do I really have to tell you how calories and protein work together to rebuild and build muscle?

If you aren't hitting certain muscle groups and aren't seeing gains there, don't blame that on genetics, blame it on your bird tier diet.
