no, but if you stick to it you're bound to lose some weight since it's quite hard to eat that strict and overeat, plus the lack of carbs helps control hunger. But there is nothing magical about keto that makes you lose more fat than on any other good diet with the same amount of calories, and the lack of carbs makes high intensity exercise less productive.

it's not better. it has been proven to be exactly the same as other isocaloric diets. the only extra weight loss comes from water weight because you don't eat carbs, but that comes back when you start eating carbs again.

No. Carb cycling is waaaaay better.
Still, keto is much easier to follow in the short run, but impossible to mantain in the long run. Just do a round of keto for 3 weeks and see how it goes.

If the keto flu is too much for you or ir your lifts sharply decrease maybe ketogenic diets are not for you. Just go for a deficit with any macros you like.

On the other hand, if keto doesn't bother you, you should do your homework and try a few carb cycles. It's a pain to plan, but it's completely worth it.

would recommend also doing ostarine or LGD or such at the same time, which will let you achieve your goal faster with less/no muscle loss. Otherwise you'll be in for a hard time.

Keto is shit for performance, but it's one of (if not THE single most) best muscle sparing diets there is. It's the one thing it has going for it.
