Other way around. Candito made a video about his shitty The Press and all he does is bench. His bench is like 330 bilut only 175 i think for the press.
He went on to say he is gonna train The Press to increase his bench.

I used to have a good press compared to my bench (185 press, 255 bench), since then i've focused only on my bench. up to 310 bench now. I hope my press went up too lol.
I read somewhere that training the Press will increase your bench, but not vice versa.
When you press your delts and triceps are obviously doing most of the work, training the press trains the weakest muscle groups in your bench. but when you are benching, you are not overloading your delts and triceps in the same way...As a result, The press will increase your bench.

Depends on the weak point of your OHP. Typically most people's weak spot on that is their shoulders, which the bench doesn't hit well enough to improve the press. If you're one of the rare few that have triceps being the limiting factor, then it could help, but you're probably better off doing a bit of isolation work to improve that rather than relying on only the bench
