People that are recovering from an eating disorder are usually taught to not focus on calorie counting and putting off specific foods (easy to slip into old habits). I notice they usually become chubby for a bit after successful recovery. They then either stay fat or go healthy finally. Its about moving from excessive self control -->less control in eat habits

People who have eating disorders are indescribably fucked in the head. It's possible to have the body of the left while being healthy, but not for someone with an ED, they'll do it the shitty way and kill themselves.
While the photo on the right looks less healthy, and is definitely less healthy than being a decent weight, it's counter intuitively more healthy than doing what someone with an ED does to be a good size.
They just can't maintain a healthy size, they're too fucked in the head. They either go way overboard and nearly die, or they pudge right up. There's no inbetween, they're mentally ill and they can't sustain a healthy weight without going insane.

So while I won't pretend the right photo is acceptable for the average person, it's legitimately the lesser of two evils and the best most can hope to achieve when the person has an ED. Some certainly CAN manage to be healthy-by-general-population-standards, most will only ever be healthy-by-ED-survivor-standards.

You can't really judge if someone's healthy just by looking at them. You can pretty safely judge if they're UNhealthy, ie fatties, but not everyone who's slim does it the right way. For all we know, she was living on nothing but regurgitated Happy Meals.

That's fucked up, bro. I have similar problem, but on smaller scale. I mean - when I'm stressing I can't eat, but it's not like I stress all day long, so I can compensate in the evening for that. Just try to count calories roughly and keep them at the same level every day. Works for me. I'm not underweight anymore.
