What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and were no longer able to lift weights. How would you stay active? What would you do instead?
I would die
Crossfit

Well am I able to run and swim? If so I'd be content. I only lift so that I stay aesthetic, however, cardio is the only thing I care about and genuinely love doing

I made this thread because I'm having my second surgery in a week, and if this shit doesn't work I'll have to give up weights for good. I really wish i liked cardio. It might be the most boring thing I can think of doing.

callisthenics?

m8 pick up climbing.
you'll get a swole af back and bis and its all body weight
>>39538500
Rock climbing, bodyweight exercises, swimming are all god-tier options especially if you can find someone to do them with
>>39538459
depends on the injury, you can work around some, hell even some kettlebell stuff or dumbells, biking, swimming, climbing, you can do a lot of stuff to stay in shape, just forget about ever being 'big'

Oh, man. I had surgery on my right arm, and the wound has had a hard time healing. So, I'm more or less in this situation.
I've been doing a lot of walking. It's so boring. I've been jumping rope because my arm doesn't get pulled on/move much while doing that either.
It's really just been annoying because I fucking hate cardio. I worked really hard to cut down before the surgery so that I could bulk a little this winter, but not being able to lift has really made it way more annoying to keep the weight off. Just sucks seeing all my hard work go down the drain because of some bad luck with the healing on my arm.

How about mountain biking?
>>39538459
I'd probably do body weight stuff. I did that when i was 16 and got ok results so i don't see why it would be too different.

I actually climb already. I've been doing it in the interim of surgery. It's fine, but nothing compares to that deadlift lockout feel.
>>39538561
climbing won't get you swole, it will however get you stronk and you'll still be more /fit/ than just about any normie

Swimming, lots and lots of swimming
Honestly nothing kills me more than it. A really hard run leaves me feeling a bit sore and tired but a hard swim leaves me dying on the lawn.
Plus have you seen a swimmers body before? Absolutely godlike.
Same boat, tendonitis in both arms that won't go away for 3 weeks now, and I can't lift anything in fear of aggravating the situation. So I'm stuck watching my gains melt away despite eating plenty protons. This also limits my range of motion so bodyweight stuff is still a problem.
