I'd rather get just enough sunlight to be healthy and not risk skin cancer. Melanoma is untreatable if it gets in your lymph nodes and artifical tanning light increases your risk like 1000x

This. I have a buddy who was told he has 6 months to a year to live after melanoma has been found in his lungs. He spent the last 4 years fighting it, going through "treatments" which made his life hell through that time which have been found to be by and large useless. He blames his use of tanning beds.
