Thoughts on this?
I'm home gym and doing my cardio at home too as well as weights would be so convenient. I was thinking of just getting one and doing swings. Short intense cardio following lifting. Also, what weight should one start with?
Don't do kettlebells unless you are fine with people questioning your sexuality.

so you're thinking lifting weights is actually cardio?
Did I get this right
Or is the definition of cardio among weightlifters a littlle different to what I am used

You think doing KB swings is lifting heavy weights?
Did I get this right?

No no. I definitely don't think weight lifting is cardio. Kettlebell swings though? Tried them once at a gym. Got my hard racing and kicked my ass. Only did it for 5mins. Sounds like cardio to me, but just wondering what people think of it exclusively as a cardio tool

Just do some HIIT cardio before lifting. Fuck KB's.
HIIT = ( High Intensity Interval Training )

My fave HIIT workouts using KB are as follow:
10 Swings
10 Burpees
Rest 1min
Do up to 10 sets
2 Mins Jump Rope
20 Swings/Snatch
Do for 20-30mins
Hill Sprint
10 Swings
Walk down, 2 min rest
Repeat up to 10 times
Anytime you do weighted work for high reps/cardio, you have to pay close attention to overuse. Keep that in mind, watch your shoulders/elbows.
