I want to lose weight as quick as possible. I am 5'7 (manlet), 225 pounds. I am doing couch to 5K. What is the minimum amount of calories that I can eat safely while doing this program? I am trying to lose 75 pounds

Use a BMR and TDEE calculator online. BMR is your minimum required calories to function. TDEE is your calories required to function including your activity. Avoid going below your BMR. If cutting 300 calories will set you below your BMR, add more exercise to your TDEE so that cutting 300 won't set you below.

The BMR and TDEE calculator on IIFYM is pretty good and specific. It will ask you to sign up for email alerts at the end, but just put in a bullshit email and it won't ask for verification.

It tells you how to starve yourself without losing muscle.
