If you cant to more than your DL max on farmers (both handles combined obviously) or hit 70% of your regular DL max on axel deadlift then your grip needs work.

Squeeze shit, lift as heavy as you can WITHOUT assistance or mixed grip. Chalk is ok.

Grippers help some. I've got a 150 and a 200. and they're both not that hard. The knurling on them is the worst part since your fingers want to twist around it but they dont rotate.

It's fine but you need to use extension training with a rice/sand/ball bearing bucket. Otherwise you can fuck your wrist up. Start slow and keep going gradually with both and you'll be able to shell walnuts with bare hands in a year or two if you're limp-wristed.
