Serious question bros, been lifting for about 12 months now and cant do more than 3 set of 6 reps at 20kg plates. What's my best option of getting stronger? I'm thinking I should be able to do at least a plate and a half by now.
it depends a lot on your weight. how much do you weigh?

Yup eat more and increase the weight by small amounts. If you're struggling, increase the weight for just the first set then drop it. Then the next week increase it for the first 2 sets and so on...

I'm eating at a deficit trying to loose fat. But im improving on every other exersise, I can do 35kg on the press machine but benching with proper form is just not happening.
I started off at 90kg and now weigh about 68kg at 5"9

I was massively skinny fat before I started. All my measurements have gone up and body fat is at 12%. Abs are starting to show but there is a fair bit of candle wax skin.
