You lack solid goals then. Refine why you're going to school, why you're strength training, and have smaller goals within those. You're trying to improve yourself, make more money, et, but if you're only trying to fit a socially acceptable mold, then you will always feel empty because you're attempting to improve your life by improving the way you're preceived by others.

TLDR: People suck, do it for yourself not others.
