I'm into mechanics and maintaining my car, anime/manga and guns but all of those thins just make you seem weird. What are some acceptable or even respectable past times. Is drawing or playing and instrument okay? I think I'd like that.

My only physical hobby is lifting and maybe limited /ck/ to make my chicken breast taste un-boring.
I'm guessing none of these are "acceptable" hobbies, though. Am I supposed to draw photorealistic art, play the guitar/piano, play chess, cook full course french dinners, write books, etc... or something?

It started as a hobby. Made my first one for my 7 yo niece. Put it into an art gallery where a rich old Austrian woman saw it and offered to buy it for $8,000. Said no, but that I would make her another. Custom. She gave me a photo of her deceased daughter to replicate. Was so emotional and speechless with the result that she wrote me a check for 12k. Quit my day job and swapped my spare bedroom in for a studio. Apparently Austrians have a thing for them, bc her inner circle has me booked for the next 3 years.

I'm also reading on certain points in history I'm curious about, and can talk about and watch sports like baseball, football, etc. Keeping up on world events is important for me, I will Al Jazeera, The Intercept, and the Washington Post daily. This advice is for you, but also anyone in a similar situation.
Something important I discovered a few years back was the importance of mindset. By saying you "don't have time" you are making a conscious effort to push things under the rug.
Just remember: There is always time. You simply need to make it.
Ways to make time:
>go to bed earlier
>wake up earlier
>less time playing video games
>less time watching anime
>less time shitposting
>prep your week's food on Sunday
Those are just some examples. You are in control of your time. Stop being a victim to time, and make it your bitch.

Here's the key friendo, I found this out a while ago:
You must find something to "DO" which states something alpha/cool about your personality
When people say, "what you been up to lately" you have to have a badass alpha response that gets them interested. "Nothing much" doesn't cut it and immediately sets you at as BETA
The activities associated with Chads differ based on your culture and geography
For example, beach/coastal areas with warm weather have alphas who surf, boat, fish, etc.
Redneck alphas hunt, fish, and drive trucks in the mud
Idk what city alphas do, I guess a variety of things like tennis and shit idk. Being a drug dealer in the city is pretty alpha but riskier than the other activities
In mountainous places alphas hike, climb mountains, ski, etc.
Alpha business-men in the suburbs golf and play squash
AVOID activities not selected by alphas such as chess, video games, geo-caching, stamp-collecting, and other nonsense. If you want to do these activities do them in your spare time and discuss them on a Mongolian Yak Milk Trading Outpost.
You should do your chosen activity at least once a month and get a cool picture each time to show people. Simply doing one COOL activity immediately establishes you as more Chad than the next guy who watched NETFLIX all weekend
Next step is to get good at your chosen activity so you can meet others while doing it and hang out with them. Once you get good at surfing you make surf bros. Etc etc. These become your bros. You don't force it. Bro-ship takes months to form unless there's instant comraderie. But having this network of fellow activity-doers is crucial to your long term success with women because it immediately gets pussy wet. Now when you approach a woman or group of women in a bar you are Chad 1 next to Chad 2, your golf/fishing/hiking/shooting/surfing/skydiving buddy and you introduce him as such and immediately launch into a cool conversation about the grizzly bear you saw

>>39494704
>Hey anon, what you been up to lately
>Haha just dealing some drugs man, doing gr8 because im an ALPHA in the CITY and i DO things as opposed to doing activities which i AVOID because they are not ALPHA (they are BETA) such as watching NETFLIX all weekend.
I also played some SQUASH and made some squash friends, they are all called CHAD (yes the 5 of them) and they are COOL
>>39493612
can i still put my dick in it
>>39494704
>doesn't believe intelligence is a sexual selector for women
jesus christ.
The only way to be alpha is to do you and be confident in you. Bitches might like you, not not, that's random. Some bitches might be just looking for a fuck, and if you're not one night stand material to them, too bad. You'll be that for someone else.
it's a numbers game, through and though. and the only way you can increase your numbers is to delude yourself into being confident until youre actually confident. You can be the most confident stamp collector on earth, and you'll pull more pussy than a good looking pussy who's intimidated by women who's into Surf-fishing and drug-hunting.
If you try to pretend your into "alpha" shit that you don't like, people pick up on your fakeness. It also makes you a beta to the only person that matters, yourself. pretending to be someone youre not is the well below beta, it's omega, even if it works. because that pussy will be hallow and unsatisfying if you ever accidentally think about your life.

Kek.
Lead's forward foot is already planted, follow's heel isn't down. This means she will continue to move backwards through the next count. This would be a good thing if you were going to open up into a cross-body lead because it adds sharpness without being uncomfortable if you let the follow compress into your connection, but we can see that the lead has just done a cross-hand drape (ugh, fucking drapes) and his back foot is blurred so it's probably coming up which means that he can't properly oppose the follow's motion with his core unless he is pulling in with his right arm which feels jerky. If it's coming down then the drape motion wouldn't make sense especially in the context of the follow's right leg motion (inferred from the blur).
So props to the guy for having an above average body and some sweet facial aesthetics, but something fucky with the motion sequence going on. 2/5 beginner salsa. Good job, awesome hobby, but I'm not giving you the body language points here. Good body language includes clear unambiguous leading and attentiveness to 'conversational' body cues. Reiterating, much love, but don't get cocky about the dancing yet if that's you.
Apparently needlessly shitting on people on the internet is my hobby. Fuck.

I'm multilingual and travel all the time which everyone enjoys
I would hike more but the local terrain is literally a tropical swamp infested with mosquitoes. (I've literally travelled for hiking and nature numerous times).
Going on my first Archaeological Expedition over the summer, so I guess that's something to chalk up... I also started diving so underwater archaeology too.

Honestly, it's a hell of a lot like weightlifting. Your best option would be to pirate a DAW and just suck for two or three years.
When I was 18 I made the mistake of picking FL Studio and now it's the only thing I know how to use. For a beginner, I would recommend it but you would get more versatility out of something like Ableton or Cubase.
Some good practice in the early days would be to try and recreate tracks by artists you admire. Don't focus on getting the exact sounds out of it just yet, but try to write out everything note for note. An excellent track for this would be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IewQqGpdmh8 because it's fairly simple in a songwriting sense but still leaves a lot of room for your own sounds and ideas to bleed through.
Good luck bro, keep at it, and as always, we're all gonna make it

Took voice lessons through high school, got into a voice professor's studio at college, he recommended me to a peer who was putting on a Messiah. A classical baritone will peak at 40 or later, it's really never too late. I would recommend choir to learn basic music skills, but finding voice lessons is what will really let you hone your singing.

Drawing is really impressive and theyre is a ton of tutorials on youtube, so you can become quite decent in a year and half if you practice.
I play an instrument and yeah its respectable. Quite fun to listen to your favorite artists and learn their songs. Probably a year to pick up and play a instrument and be able to play proficiently
