What does /fit/ do for cardio?
Can someone tell me why the erg will kick my ass in 10 minutes even though I can ride my bike for like 50 miles and be fine?
Absolutely nothing destroys me like the rowing machine. Does anyone else use it for cardio? Is it a good source? It's the only thing that doesn't kill my knees besides biking.
I can barely do half an hour on the damn thing in 10 minute bursts

I climb 120 stories in HIIT intervals in 20 minutes.
It hurts my soul.
Dependent on the season I either row, run, or swim.

On what? Stair master or something? All my gym has is one of those handle climbing machines that are almost completely vertical, are those any good?
In the fall i do soccer refereeing on the weekend (season is over now), I would regularly run 10-15 miles on Saturday, but if I did both days, I could hit 25 miles.
I also ride my bike to and from work about 10 miles a day, one way all coasting downhill but the other way obviously pumping uphill.

Stair treadmill. I don't like the one where you have to lift up vertically entirely as I hike mountains. Also I like to go up the stairmill sideways as a change of pace. I'd like to get up to 200 in 20 minutes in a year or so.

6k on the erg was probably the most strenuous workout of my life. Run it at a 2k pace and you have 14 minutes of wanting nothing more but to quit

Rowing>god damned everything

I like rowing and stairmill, or incline treadmill for LISS
Would it be worth it to buy a cheap rower for a home gym? I want to try it so much but I don't want to go to the gym

I was a competitive rower and quit to lift. I could do 60' at 1:55 split
Now I warm up for 2' at 2:20 and get all sweaty
But I outlift every rower anywhere
