Smolov jr is literally just a lot of volume crammed into 3 or 4 weeks(don't remember how long the program is) without any deeper thought. Retardedly high volume will get most people stronger in the short run but doing a program that rotates lighter and heavier sessions/weeks and lets you focus on bringing up your weak points would probably give you better results in the long run. I'm not saying smolov jr is bad but in my opinion there are more efficient/safer ways to program your training.

Would it be worthwhile to start doing push-ups on rest days to increase my bench? And what would be an approriate way?

I was thinking about 3-5 sets per rest day while staying away from failure to allow for regeneration. So if I can do 40 I would do 3-5*25-30 throughout the day.

You can certainly drive through your feet safely without placing your back in extreme lordosis. Please dont make this mistake based on one woman's misinformed use to get an extra 15 lbs up. I hope I do not see any of you in the outpatient center any time soon.

Shoulders back, scapula squeezed, back flat, drive through the feet. A small back arch is natural and will occur. Do not push it to the extreme and place such an undistributed load on your spinal column. It will ultimately result in spondyloysis and spondylolisthesis with extreme arthosis of the facet and si joints.

What are good symmetrical wrist wraps (i.e. have a distinct left and right)? I've been using the Titan RPMs for the past year and they do the job just fine but wrapping my right wrist is always a tiny bit annoying (thumb loop pointing down). You can sear a steak on the cooktop and then finish cooking it in the over to get the dark (malliard reaction) crust and medium-rare or rare interior with a minimum of grey band in between. Other options to minimize that band would include sous vide (water cooking).

Just because I eat enough chicken that purdue farms considers me a war criminal doesn't mean that I can't cook something else if I wanted to. That's what I tell everyone anyway.

Shit man, things aren't so black and white. Are you just feeling like shit or is it the feel you might get injured if you go on? If it's the latter, by all means stop.
Anyway, one workout left too early isn't the end of the world, imho. It's better that you don't feel like shit about training in general; so if you can avoid this by skipping a specially shit day, I'd say skip.
But don't use this as an excuse to slack off on your training. If you start feeling like "utter fucking dogshit" too many days, you're doing something wrong.
