One or two servings a night wont effect much if you drink enough water to keep hydrated.

Alcohol itself has a very high thermic effect, and is treated like a toxin in the body. It's metabolization effectively stops all other nutrient metabolization.

The sugars may have an effect in less dry drinks. I usually count 100 cal a serving.

No beer!! It's a little different story.

I'm not sure on the details but iirc alcohol consumption can inhibit protein synthesis by up to 30% which is basically throwing away a third of all your effort. I've also heard it's better to drink the day of training instead of the day after.

Same here, I usually spend one night a week shitfaced and maybe one more just comfortably buzzed. All my lifts are about to hit 1/2/3/4 and I haven't stalled or had to deload yet so I don't worry about it too much. I'm still young tho so as I get older I'll most likely taper the drinking off.
