Anybody here accurately able to measure their body fat percantage. I've tried several different methods and it comes out way lower than it should be. 16% . I feel as if this is like the BMI meme.

No one gives a shit. Every method is pretty inaccurate, even the expensive ones. Your water balance will affect your body fat% too, so it's hardly worth tracking too.

just add 5-10% to whatever people claim it is.
think of it like height, but opposite.

Those body weight scales only measure body fat in your legs unless they have a handle. They tend to underestimate fat people and over estimate skinny people. Fat distribution can fuck them up to. They're good enough to tell what direction you're heading in though.
Calipers have their own problems. You need to go to one of those fitness places and do a displacement test for an actual accurate reading.

Do you have six pack?
>no
You're fat
>yes
Not fat. Your problem is no mass and/or dysmorphia.

Use a bod pod or get an mri/dexa scan, other methods are wildly inaccurate

calipers say im 13 according to the proper method but its more like 23% when i look at visual charts

I wholeheartedly agree with the suggestion to get a DEXA scan. It's the most accurate method of body fat estimation currently available, and it's the only thing I use to monitor my BF% progress. Pic related.
