got gym rings, a pull up bar, a backpack, one adjustable dumbbell and plates
AxAxAxx , run on saturday
A
weighted pull ups 3x6
weighted ring dips 3x6
dumbbell rows 3x6
one arm push ups 3x8 (doing 5/4/4 atm, once I reach 3x8 gonna do them weighted 3x6)
ab rollout on rings 3x8 (almost do all of them standing just by a few reps missing)
Thinking about doing pistol squats by I am somehow too lazy for them

mate as if you've got good enough form on ring dips to do them weighted. they are super hard on their own but fucking weighted? post a video?
>>39454788
no video sadly, but I currently do them with 15kg added, started doing them on april this year
I'm 69kg and 176cm
I've finally become strong enough to do dips and chin ups with weight. For some reason the form seems to be easier with some weight. I feel like I'll be making serious gains now
Anyone here use a backpack too for pull ups? Maybe I'm wrong but they look like the center of gravity is harder to pull the weight up compared when where it is when you use a dip belt.
>weighted calisthenics
>aka weight training
Isn't the whole point of doing cali to be free from equipment? If you've a captainchair/pull up/dip station why not just buy a rack, plates, bar and bench?
>>39455393
because 40kg of plates (enough for at least 1 year of weighted cali training) and a pair of gymnastic rings will cost you 70€, but a proper rack, bench, barbell and plates will probably go up to 1000€

Pic of your setup? I don't know which rings to buy so help me out would ya?
Should I try this?
>>39455412
If money's an issue then why not just go to a park and do your session with a backpack full of rocks?
How are purely califags supposed to overload and progress? More reps, quicker/slower reps, less rest? Seems pretty limited to me.
Also
>can you really put a price on your strength and hypertrophy gains?

I got black plastic ones which costed me like 21€, and support around 300-400kg but I can't find the link now
Just check one from amazon with good reviews overall, gym rings are not like barbells which vary too much depending on the model or brand

I do because I have a smith machine (dad bought it used for some reason) that came with a bunch of plates. So I just use them for weighted dips and pull ups.

>he doesn't train legs
brah you are literally a meme
>>39455412
>>39455393
My rings cost me $30 and my pull up/dip station was $99 at big 5.
>>39455454
I wouldnt. Best you could do with the rings is dips and an L-sit.
>>39454815
The one exercise im heavily using weights for are chin ups and thats so i can achieve a 1 arm chin up. Other than that my training is mostly calisthenics. I have no idea why youd do weighted ring dips if you have other options that wont snap city. Just do Bulgarian dips instead.
