Platysma training advice

So today I trained my platysma with 4x12 of weighted lower lip pullbacks at 20kg. After the second set I felt some kind of tingling pain near the left risorius. I took down some weight and continued, but I still got this pain and now it fells sore af.

Any tips on improving my platysma training? Trainer at my gym said that with clips, as I do is the preferred way. I thought about doing weighted reverse chin pullbacks instead soon.. will I get the same effects?

tried the inflating move too, but I didn't feel it bring as much hypertrophy as the lower lip pull does.
