Are Chiropractors a scam?

Yes. Adjustments are a meme without proven benefits, and carry risks like vertebral artery dissection. They take a bunch of business classes in school learning to shill their useless services. They don't practice evidence based medicine, and often have anti science views. One of their scams is a "free screening" where they tell you your shit out of alignment and you need to see them biweekly for 6+ months to fix it.

so why does bas rutten do it
>>39442978
I've never heard of that I just wanted to get Adjustments because I hear other people who lift do it. Anyone who would suggest I need 6 months of work would right away seem like a fucking charlatan. Jesus.

Is there a legit link that proves this so my wife can stop wasting my money on this shit?
She's been going for nearly 2 years and it's always "I'm almost fixed, but now this other thing is out of alignment"

This is what bugs me about Bas, he's quick to dismiss a lot of obviously ridiculous "bullshido" martial arts like a professional shout but then completely buys into shit like Chiropractors and yoga

Look it up, I know this is just a wiki article but there is way more information out there from actual physicians telling people not to do it. Chiropractors aren't doctors. They are the equivalent of nu-age crystal healers. It's "Alternative medicine" that's a bunch of bullshit you're paying for someone to crack your back and neck that can actually lead to real damage. If a Chiropractor walked into any hospital with their white coat on they would be laughed out of the place. Not even a lot of research has been done on the scope of what effect it has on people fully. The media doesn't report on it. People who've been seeing a Chiropractor for years are basically guinea pigs at this point.
Chiropractors are scam artists
