Are you guys doing those close stance squats and what are the pros and cons of them?
...so far i saw just one guy doing them as warmup and with small weights..
I guess no one is doing them
Closer my legs are together the more quad activation I get.

Super close (ie within shoulder width) squats generally only work as assistance for most people. They're very quad dominant - assuming you don't get super bent over to keep the weight over midfoot - and it takes a fair bit of flexibility to get decent ROM without rounding or otherwise compensating.

Can't you just do front squats if you want more quads with less exploding knees?
