What is the average shoulder length?

I measured mine from end to end and got 18 inches.

I'm a 5'10" skelly.

Is this below average? What is the average?

How much can I possibly increase?

I'm 19 BTW

Uh Im not even sure how to measure shoulders?
Is it like measuring chest but taking the tape up two inches?

Stand straight and mark one shoulder on the wall and then the second. Use opposite hands.

Better yet, ask someone else to measure it for you.
