Redpill me on half-reps
partial reps, such as partial press, partial squat, partial deadlift, etc with their lowest position being the sticking point of a full rep, can build some explosiveness from the sticking point. they should be viewed as a support exercise for the full version of the lift and not as a substitute.

I fucked up my shoulder in June, and since then I've only been able to do half-reps on flat bench.
It doesn't hurt during any other exercise, but it never healed enough to give me full ROM on bench.
That being said, I've still been able to make slight gains from half-repping. It's slow and humiliating though, so I wouldn't recommend it.
