Hey /fit/ I have been having issues doing squats, going down is no problem but coming up in the last bit before locking out I get a pain in my upper right leg, I think it is due to a tight hip flexor but I have been doing stretches and it doesn't seem to be helping. I don't have anterior pelvic tilt and my posture is good, I am not sure what else it could be.
At this point I am still 99% sure it a tight hip flexor
Wat do
Take some time off squatting and learn proper hip drive

I don't think I have an issue with hip drive, My deadlifts are relatively strong, but even deadlifting I get the same pain.

My ideas:
1. adductor trigger points
2. hip flexor or quad trigger points
3. tight hip flexors
4. weak hip flexors
5. weak adductors
6. weak abdominals
7. piriformis trigger points
try working on all of these things for 2-3 weeks. if it doesnt go away or increases in severity, see a sports medicine specialist.
Hip bursitis

do this a couple of times a week, you're welcome.
Use more knees. As in force your knees out

I may know that feel, OP. I had the same thing half a year ago. Basically my quad and lower back were too tight and pulled on my hip, like hyperlordosis. Sometimes I couldn't even get into my dl position with proper form, but the only thing hurting was my hip flexor when squatting. So I foam rolled my quad and lower back and stretched both with pic related plus worked on my abs and hammies.

Try long sessions of wide-legged slavsquatting (and during that, put your hands together and push your thighs out with your elbows), sets of wide-legged forward rolls, and groun drills.
Look up Ido Portal's training regimes or exercises. Shit helps a lot and it's fun.
