You'll lack upper back gainz. Even guys who does only bodyweight workouts incorporate horizontal rows in their routine. Just do it anon. If you don't feel like doing barbell then do it with dumbbell

Rows are rows. Shouldn't matter barbell or dumbbell. Up to preference. It's just it'll probably be harder to progress on dumbbell when the weight gets heavy because of weight increment. Then again you can vary the volume to continue progressing
