>calculate TDEE
>6'2" male 170lbs lift 6 times per week so 3300 cal
>eat at 3300 for two weeks just to "be safe" and not "gain to much weight"
>count every fucking calorie
>gain TEN POUNDS in TWO WEEKS
What the fuck /fit/ is my metabolism really fucking slow? This can't be all water
sups?
Do you look 10lbs heavier?

If you mean supplements I take 5g creatine, 4g beta alanine and a multivitamin everyday. Did this while cutting too

how many calories did you eat before?
lifting 6 times per week doesn't mean shit. what's your intensity? you can curl bitch weights 2x/day 7 days/week and still don't come close to actual calories burned to someone who actually does real work 3 times per week.
so you said you gained 10 lbs in 2 weeks. keep at it for another week to see if you will gain additional 5 lbs. if you do you miscalculated.
most likely its just water weight, you didnt take a shit before weighting yourself, etc. 10 lbs gain in 2 weeks seems unlikely.

I ate 2000 cal on a cut for 4 months. I do a ppl twice a weeek. Each workout is at least an hour and 15 min. Always am sweating, heart rate elevated, heavy compounds, etc. I put in work

if you tracked your weight loss you can calculate at what deficit you were from your maintenance then just eat 500 above that.

sounds like your calc was off a little bit. I'd say 2800-3000 calories for a clean bulk. and remember those are guidelines because everyone is different.
but gaining 10 lbs in 2 weeks is the goal of a bulk, as long as a good portion of it is muscle you're fine.
>>39408319
optimal muscle gain per week is around 0.25 kg or 0.5 lbs. if you account for 1:1 muscle to fat ratio that's 0.5 kg or a little over 1 lbs weight gain per week.
in 2 weeks that comes out to 1 kg or a little over 2 lbs.weight gain. anything over that is most likely just fat (unless you are on steroids).
Damn, I just tried to do the math for a 3k calorie month and shiiiit, I would spend a lot more of on food. How do fatties maintain their lifestyle? Are they all brogammers making fat stacks?
>>39408386
>How do fatties maintain their lifestyle?
1g of protein/carbs = 4 calories.
1g of fat = 9 calories
most food that fatties eat is mostly bad fats. pretty easy if you eat pic related junk

I'm in college, and have unlimited access to the dining hall. A fatty/bulkers dream.
