Did my first deadhang chinup yesterday.
I can do 3 pistols holding out 4kg in front of me.
My vertical jump is 22-27 inches.

I used to do a short uphill bike 'sprints' about every 4 days from 4th grade uptill a year and a half ago. And i started doing bodyweight, running and sprinting in december.
I could only run about 100 meters (last week i ran a sub 20min 5k)

I'm starting ss this week, ive practiced with a broomstick and got pretty solid form and i have done a ton of reading/watching.

Can i get a bodyfat% estimate?

Starting weight 235 bodyfat prob 25%. Dropped to 185 by end of June this year. Bulked July until now. Sitting at 210, feeling fat without having gained the mass I wanted to.

Not sure if I should do a short but really hard cut before I bulk through coldest part of winter, try a "recomp", or just keep bulking through winter and do a long cut starting in the spring.

I'm 29, started lifting last year. Only joined a gym 11 months ago. I hopped on gear early to accelerate my progress towards natty limit. I have gained almost 40 lbs and have a roughly 10% bf, I'm basically at my ideal envisioned size now so I just need to maintain. Experienced literally zero gear related side effects or issues. I've just been using test at about 550 per week with an AI of course. I'm sure I could make similar progress over a few years if I had stayed natty, but I have no regrets.


To be honest there is something awesome about being in great shape when you're my age. Almost no guys are, you look like a fucking stud everywhere you go. It's crazy.

Actually I've been on a steady dose of 500 for 7 months no breaks. My BP is below 100 systolic and all other measures are in line. I guess I just have great luck and my body handles it well. Maybe it's because I eat really clean, I'm not sure. I know this isn't standard advice for most people but it's the way I'm doing it. I'm a doc (not Endo, so this isn't really my field) so I'm maybe more comfortable with managing it than most.

Been feeling fat & undisciplined lately. Felt like I let myself get soft since I got into a new relationship.

Years of working on my form, pushing my weight up, eating lots of chicken/milk/eggs/beans.

I also don't use a weight belt or straps on DL/Squats so I could probably go higher on those....and I haven't maxed out on bench in years....also I don't use Pre-Workout.

It's really about consistency, eating more, trying new things and pushing yourself.

DESU, Lighting & Zoom was a big factor there. The back pic was the first/only one I've had someone take of me (in perfect bright direct lighting), and the front was right up against a mirror (like 1 foot) with perfect (changing room) lighting. The rest have been either much further away (6-8 feet) or soft yellow/bathroom/home lighting, which make a huge impact.

I ran Starting Strength my first 6 months, then Texas method for 6 more (until I got hurt, tore my lower back muscles). After that, I ran PPL for about a year until Feb when the volume on my diet became too much. I've been running Upper/Lower & 5/3/1 since. I don't feel like I got less lean (I still can see my chest veins in person, my Adonis belt is more visible than ever, etc), but I've definitely put on mass and strength since January...a lot in my legs, which I've been really able to blow as I recovered from the injury and can Squat again.
